As a component of the longitudinal Core Entrustable Professional Activities (CEPA) course, students must complete at least one hour of mental or physical wellness activity each week. Any activity related to mental, emotional, or physical wellness counts towards completion. Because of our unique location, students have access to a variety of beautiful outdoor activities just off campus, and we encourage our students to bike, ski, hike, or meditate in the gorgeous Wasatch mountains. If yoga or baking is more your speed, we support you taking care of yourself in whatever form that takes.
The course also provides instruction in stress-management, physician wellness, mindfulness, fatigue-mitigation and resiliency.
