01. Fundraising

Private support is essential to assist students who may not otherwise be able to realize their dreams of becoming physicians.  Donations are also used to help fund faculty research initiatives and to expand and start new projects in response to community needs.  Gifts also help fund Noorda-COM’s facility and equipment needs to keep our technology at the forefront of medical education.  Gifts can be allocated to:  Scholarships, Research, Naming Opportunities, Faculty Development, Annual Giving, and more.  For more information on how you can support Noorda-COM, please contact us.

02. Marketing and Public Relations

As the primary contact for Noorda-COM’s external constituents, we help promote the medical school and tell the story of our students, faculty, and staff, and impact we are making in the community.  We work with the media and press organizations to provide expertise, respond to interview requests, and promote events and activities.

03. Special Events

The Office of Institutional Advancement oversees the planning of all Noorda-COM special events related to development including Galas and fundraising receptions, and coordinates school-wide events such as White Coat Ceremony, Commencement, and other events.  To view upcoming events, please see our calendar.

04. Community Engagement

The office serves as a liaison between Noorda-COM and our neighbors and communities with a goal of fostering positive relationships in the community and at all levels of government.  We are committed to strengthening our relationships with public officials and community stakeholders to increase awareness of Noorda-COM throughout the region.
